Board Committees

New York State law requires that public agencies such as the Water and Sewer Authority organize with certain committees.  The Board has established a finance, audit, and governance committee to address requirements of relevant state law, and optimize the performance of the Authority.

Committee Structure

The Authority Board of Directors has selected membership and adopted charters for each of the three statutory committees.  Additional ad hoc committees may be established from time to time.

Audit
Committee

The Audit Committee is charged with recommending selection of a contractor to perform an annual audit, and for the review and management of the annual audit process.  Current members of the Audit Committee include:

The Finance Committee is charged with supporting development and review of the Authority budget, and advising the Board on matters related to debt issuance.

The Governance Committee addresses Board operations and performance, and is charged with management of the code of ethics, as well as annual Board self-evaluations.
